67th anniversary, we are stepping up to the third year of second foundation stage!
As we celebrated our 67th anniversary in October 2022, we have entered into a new phase of growth for the second foundation stage. In the 66 years since our corporation was founded, we have always evaluated ourselves as a team which creates things that do not exist to support our customers growth. This is based on our corporate motto "Creation and Innovation". We have accepted the worlds challenges and been leaders in our time by offering solutions with unique technologies to meet diversified needs. However, the speed of technological innovation and the intensification of competition in our main markets are only escalating, and we are unable to cope with this with our traditional approach to manufacturing.
In previous years we have been positioned as the second foundational stage of Takatori's long history. We have adopted the slogans of "Competition, Competitive Strategy", "Tolerance", "Reform" and "Challenge". In addition, starting this fiscal year, we will aim to "Create and Innovate" new business models by adding a new slogan "Information Power Strategy", "Deployment Power Strategy", and "Product Power Strategy" in order to adapt to the rapidly changing market and to be more aware of overcoming intensifying competition.
Currently, our primary business is to develop, produce and sell semiconductors and panel display equipment, high-brittle material cutting equipment (multi wire saws), and functional fiber cutting tools (auto cutting systems). Although the external environment is putting pressure on earnings due to soaring raw material prices, we will strengthen our collaboration with Takatori (Changshu) Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. which was established in China in 2017 and enhance our profit structure while reducing costs.
In addition, we are heavily involved in the SiC power semiconductor business, which is the key to realizing a decarbonized society. To fulfill this responsibility, we have developed the MWS-SiC6 and SiC8 cutting machines that thoroughly pursue SiC material cutting methods. We have launched the machines to the market and currently hold an overwhelming share.
We will continue to strive for "Creation and Innovation" in order to enrich people's lives.

We recently entered into the medical industry and have succeeded in commercialization.
In addition to the production of manufacturing equipment so far, in the field of medical and healthcare industry, we aim to further establish, expand, and develop our business by combining our unique ideas and technologies through alliance under the slogan of "Creating things that do not exist in the world"

As electric vehicles become increasingly popular, there is a need for all solid lithium-ion batteries (all solid LIBs) that can provide longer continuous driving distances, shorter recharging times, smaller battery units, and greater safety in the event of a collision, but the industry is currently facing technical barriers to making this a reality. Takatori has set out to develop a mass production system that embodies this solution. The result will be the establishment of a world-leading proprietary all solid LIB manufacturing process, which will greatly contribute to the improvement of the performance characteristics and popularization of electric vehicles. We aim to use the result to expand our business.
In addition, we have launched a project to create new businesses in preparation for a carbon-neutral society.
Through group meetings among employees, we will envision the future of the carbon neutral industry and work together as a whole company to consider the business we should pursue.

We are determined to carry on the tradition of "Monozukuri Spirit" as well as further improve the technologies and continue to invest in our human resources; as we have done since the establishment of the company in order to be successful.
